Friends Of Broomfield School (FOBS)

Please let us explain about FOBS and hopefully you will want to get involved, as we always welcome new members.  FOBS stands for Friends Of Broomfield School.  We are a group of parents, staff and friends that are dedicated to raising funds for all the children that attend Broomfield Primary School. This enables the school to buy the extra things they need to improve the quality of education and to give the children of Broomfield the best opportunities in life.

The FOBS group has been running for over ten years now and in the past we have managed to raise extra cash for computers, sports equipment and recently a brand new mini-bus.

During the year we hold various fund raising events such as children’s discos, cake raffles and Quiz nights.  Our main event of the year is our annual Midsummer Madness, which takes place over two days.  The first day is the school sports events and fete, with a large variety of stalls, followed by a Family Disco and BBQ on the second day. 

I hope this has given you a little insight about FOBS and the work we do.  If you would like to know more or would like to help in anyway, for example by offering a few hours of your time, raffle prizes or donations, we would like to hear from you.
